Jim Camut

Who am I?
Good question.

The formal answer:

I am a User Interface Designer / Developer with expertise in web and mobile design, HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. My day-to-day work includes designing websites, applications and UI/UX experiences – through storyboarding, wireframes and prototypes – and then coding the design and functionality into the front-end of working models. I have a bachelors degree from Penn State University in public relations and advertising with a minor in business. Before endeavoring my design and development career, I raced bicycles at a professional level in the U.S. and Europe with some of the world’s fastest cyclists.

The informal answer:

Where do I start? First of all, I hate talking about myself, but here’s what I can painfully can say… I’ve still got my bike racing mentality and love for the sport. I’ll go out and train my butt off for local mountain bike races, as if they were the world championships. I’ve got an italian last name, which got butchered at Ellis Island (used to be ‘Camuti’), but I’m also a mix of Irish, German and a few other things. I’ve got an amazing wife whom I don’t compliment nearly enough. I love to spend time outdoors, but I hate the cold. I’ve got a ton of other interests, including photography and anything outdoors.
