I've been trying for two days to write a post. I keep writing, then deleting, the writing then, deleting, etc. So I will keep this short and simple. I've been working my ass butt off the last two weeks and a few things have happened. 1) I now have a freelanceing position and I will be able to pay my bills. For me this is a huge personal victory that might be equivelant to something like when Luke Skywalker blew up the death star. I also might be starting another part time position soon which will give me enough money to buy a bike. First thing is first... Happy Valentines Day. Now that we got that out of the way, it should be pretty obvious that I changed the appearance of my website a little bit. I want to use this website as a home-base when I finally launch my book. I now have a cover my book, but its just a test version. The book cover I show you on my website is something I will send to publishers to give them a better visualization of a finished product. It's also going to be a good visualization for me to make this happen and get my book picked up by a medium to big-sized publisher. I need your approval…
I've been putting several hours into another website everyday that nobody even reads or knows exists. I've been working on that website as an effort to use what I know in order to help people; and also to make some honest income as well. They say tough times call for tough measures. I suppose that webiste will be a result of trying something new and trying to be innovative. I've also been sending out resumes and job inquiries pretty heavily. So I'm sure some opportunity will arise sooner or later. Another BOOK UPDATE
(2/6/10 ) BOOK UPDATE - Last week I listened to a really great telephone seminar with writing coach, Lisa Tener. She is a published author with a major publisher. She also helps lots of authors write their books and get published. One of her clients appeared on Oprah, Montel, Good Morning America, etc. Lisa has also been on National TV (ABC World News with Peter Jennings). This is interesting…
I'm snowed in here in Johnstown. We got well over 2 feet. I heard they got up to 40 inches in northern Maryland. Being snowed in at my house, I came across these videos on youtube and I thought it was really interesting to say the least.
